How does the delivery process work?
Once you have your travel itinerary, you will place an order through our website at www.vipluggagedelivery.com.  Upon order confirmation, we will mail you special identification tags for attachment to your luggage prior to your departure.  We will then schedule the delivery process through one of our local agents. We can deliver to a hotel, business, residential address or the destination of your choice, and provide service 7 days a week, including holidays.

What is your service area?
We have delivery representatives at over 200 domestic airports, including all gateways and hubs for the major carriers. Our standard pricing includes delivery up to a 40 mile radius from your final destination airport.  Deliveries beyond 40 miles will incur a $10.00 per additional 10 mile radius fee.

Can I use VIP Luggage Delivery service if I am flying on an international flight that arrives at a US domestic airport?
VIP Luggage Delivery is only available to individuals traveling on flights that originate in US airports.  US Customs requires passengers to collect their luggage in order to clear customs. Delivery agents are not authorized to collect luggage directly from the airline for these passengers.

How do I schedule a delivery?
To begin using VIP Luggage Delivery service, you can place an order through our website at www.vipluggagedelivery.com.

How far in advance do I need to schedule a delivery?
At least 24 hours prior to your flight departure time.

How do I know if my order has been placed correctly?
Once your order has been placed, an e-mail confirming your order will be sent to the e-mail address that was provided. You will also be given a confirmation number once you place your order.

Do I need to do anything special to my bags to prepare them for your delivery service?
During the reservation process we will gather a detailed description of the bags that you will be including on the order. Additionally, we will send you special luggage tags to attach to each bag that will be on your reservation. These help our representatives clearly identify your luggage at your final destination airport and also assist us with tracking.  If the luggage tags do not arrive prior to your scheduled departure, we will perform the service using the information on your order to verify the proper items.

When will I receive my luggage tags?
You will receive your luggage tags after you place your order. Luggage tags will be sent to you the week prior to your departure. If for any reason the luggage tags do not arrive prior to your scheduled departure, we will perform the service using the detailed luggage description on your order to verify your luggage at the final destination airport.

What does the VIP Luggage Delivery service cost?
Standard pricing is $49.95 for delivery of up to 8 bags to one address. This price includes delivery within a 40 mile radius from your final destination airport.  If you final destination address is beyond a 40 mile radius from the airport, additional mileage will be charged at $10.00 per additional 10 mile radius. 

Why can’t I add more than 8 bags to my order?
Any additional luggage over 8 pieces will need to be placed on an additional order.  Customers will be charged standard rates for all additional orders.  

Do I still need to pay the airline luggage fees?

Yes, airline luggage fees will still apply. Any airline luggage fees will be paid to the airlines at time of check in.

How do I pay for the service?
We require payment through a major credit card (American Express, VISA, or MasterCard) at the time of order. 

Is my luggage covered against loss or damage?
Yes, your luggage is covered in-flight by the major carriers. Once it is in our hands, we accept liability for lost or damaged luggage up to $500 per bag or $1,000 per passenger at no additional charge. Do you have any restricted items?
We follow the guidelines of the major airline carriers. Detailed restrictions are covered in our Terms and Conditions section of our website www.vipluggagedelivery.com

How soon after my flight arrival will my bags be delivered?
Our goal is to complete delivery within 4 hours of arrival to your final destination airport (including weekends and holidays). When you place an order, if you waive the signature requirement, our drivers will schedule your bags for immediate delivery. If you do not waive the signature requirement, you will be contacted by one of our representatives to schedule a time that is convenient for you to receive your luggage. Please be advised that for residential deliveries, we will not call or deliver luggage for flights landing after 11pm. We will resume contact and complete delivery service by noon the following day. If your final destination address is a hotel, the luggage will be left with the hotel concierge. Deliveries made to a business will require a signature from an office personnel to receive the luggage.

What happens if my luggage is delayed and doesn't arrive on the originally scheduled flight?
We will contact you to obtain the airline-issued bag tag numbers that were issued when you checked the luggage. We will file a claim on your behalf with the airline, and will contact you with the claim information. We will process a credit to your account. The airline will be responsible for the final delivery of your luggage.

What if my travel plans change after I've placed the reservation?
Simply call our call center and advise a representative of the change. You may cancel an order up to 24 hours in advance of arrival time without penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled arrival time are subject to a $15 cancellation fee.

What if my flight is canceled or diverted?
If your flight is canceled and/or you are rerouted, please call our call center as soon as possible to advise us of the change. We will either cancel the order at no cost to you, or if you wish, we will dispatch revised arrival details to our drivers and proceed with delivery.
